Pinnable shortcuts for Windows 7 Superbar.
This trick is not the same as the ones normally available in other sites. Those guides usually use explorer.exe parameters, which often cause the multiple spawning of explorer.exe instances, which after a long uptime, might take up significant amount of RAM.
This one runs rundll32.exe to parse the desired URL, be it local HDD location, or even Internet location.
How to create your own shortcuts:
1. Create new shortcut.
2. Put this on the location:
"%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe url.dll,FileProtocolHandler <your desired location>"
without the quotation marks. If the destination path contains space, put them inside a pair of quotation marks.
3. Change the icon.
Included in the ZIP file is the shortcuts to special folders like My Computer and Documents. You can immediately pin them to your windows 7 taskbar.
